I am not a baby. I understand you but it takes time for me to formulate my thoughts. I was born on May 9,1999 in Boston Massachusetts. My parents didn’t know that I had a disability until after birth when they told my parents to schedule a speech evaluation. I had to learn head switches and low tech communication. My parents fought so hard with school systems to make them understand that I needed physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and a person familiar with technology. In my lifetime, the best school I ever attended was Princeton Highschool. They were understanding about my IEP. In high school, I took three to four classes per year until I reached age 21. Then I left with a high school diploma. After high school, I enrolled into the DDD program, where I hired my tutors, conversation partners and other  services. It took a while for my mother and I to understand the rules. Since then, I’ve hired people and continue to hire people for open positions.
